This pendant was hand dyed and imprinted with local wildflowers in Glenbrittle at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains. The 16 inch chain and jump ring is sterling silver. Each one is unique. This pendant features Crocosmia, Wild Angelica, Common Knapweed and Meadowpea.
Crocosmia:
Due to its vibrant red colour, this flower symbolises passion, energy and joy.
Meadowpea:
A scrambling plant with yellow flowers.
Wild Angelica:
This bittersweet herb can be used as an aid to digestion. It was used as a vegetable until the 20th century.
Common Knapweed:
This thistle-like purple flower attracts clouds of butterflies.
