These earrings were hand dyed and imprinted with local wildflowers in Glenbrittle at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains. The loops are sterling silver. As each wildflower is unique, the earrings are similar to each other but not exactly the same. These earrings feature Crocosmia and Yarrow.
Yarrow is also known as Devils Nettle. Used since ancient times to heal wounds and stop bleeding. It is also said to ward away evil.
Crocosmia, due to its vibrant red colour, this flower symbolises passion, energy and joy.
